Episode Sixteen Sixteen

Impressing Jodie Foster

Synopsis

Sam, a plucky mass murderer, is forced to team up Victor, a serial killer who also happens to be plucky. For reasons that aren't explained in exposition, they must track down a green amulet with powers of demonic origin using only Sam's disregard for all life and, oh yes, his psychic powers.

Interesting Factoids

*For the longest time this episode was simply referred to as "The Green Amulet"*
*David Miller's character puked twice in the episode. Once it was orange juice and oatmeal mix. Another time it was orange juice and chewed up pretzels*
*This episode was in production for around four months*
*Cappa's character (George Manis) was completely dubbed over with a Mexican accent by Ryan Rubio*
*This was the first R.A.V.E. episode edited on the station's new final cut pro edit system*
*The same technology that made light sabers possible in episode 13 was implemented in the engineering of the "digital wang"*
Refusing to take direction, Ryan Rubio demanded that he portray the police chief in his Ted Kennedy voice. Similarly, Daniel Hooper can be heard imitating Charlton Heston in a few scenes*

Is that a Green Amulet in your pocket or am I a Mexican?

Continuity Errors

Jessie's character does not appear to be wearing the amulet when she is killed.

Also, the same character has her shoe knocked off in the fight with Victor, but it is on her foot when Jack is examining her body, though this is hard to notice.

George is not actually Mexican, but Greek.

Brian's hair is longer in some scenes than in others.

So is Dave's hair.

Killing and Violence Starting Lines

Sam - "I'm sorry, but I can't afford to let my friend get caught...can't take any chances."
"..don't get your panties in a wad."
"Nice package man!"

Victor - "You've got to three to tell us where that amulet is.."
