by M. Wilson Burdorff, Darkness
Falls is a foray into a new direction for Student Television.
With
the exception of General College, a soap opera
based around UNC, Student Television
has never seen a dramatic series that allows actors and technicians
to express themselves in the medium in serious way. Darkness Falls
corrects that problem.
Drawing
on the inspiration of such television predecessors as The Twilight
Zone, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, and The X-Files, darkness falls
looks to expand the realm of dark dramatic science fiction and horror.
So
tune into STV and let the darkness fall upon you.
